Georgia
Georgia started working with Dr. Jelic as Practice Manager in 2010. She began her career in practice management with her father, a general dentist in Michigan and then spent another 27 years managing periodontal and orthodontic practices. Georgia was one of the first 10 Care Credit instructors in the United States and instrumental in launching Care Credit’s training program when Care Credit was a startup company. She spent the next 10 years teaching dental practices how to present and implement Care Credit.
Her hobbies are cooking, reading, being outside and Detroit Tiger baseball.
She has been happily married to Tom for 28 years and is an aunt to twenty-four nieces, nephews and fifteen great nieces and nephews. She is also a mom to two cats.
Kelly R.
Kelly graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelors in Nursing in Science. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, a national nursing honor society. Kelly has worked in adult and neonatal intensive care units in Maryland, Texas and North Carolina. She was a member of an elite air/ground transport team for five years. Kelly has transitioned into outpatient surgery the last five years of her vast nursing career. Kelly and her family moved from Dallas, Texas to Pittsboro, NC in 2009 to be closer to family. Kelly is BLS and ACLS certified. In her free time, Kelly enjoys exercising, interior decorating and DIY projects.
Kelly J.
Before achieving her certification as a Medical Esthetic Professional, Kelly was a cardiac intensive care nurse for 10 years. When Kelly isn’t applying her talents to facial rejuvenation, she assists with our patients’ conscious sedation and post operative recovery and is a CPR instructor. Kelly and Dr. Jelic have two children who enjoy helping in the office as well.
Catalina
Catalina, “Cat,” has been working on the administrative side of the medical, aesthetics and dental industry for 8 years. Cat was born In Colombia, grew up in Charlotte NC ,and has been in Durham for 8 years. Cat speaks fluid Spanish and Portuguese which has been an asset in patient care Coordinating and Treatment planning. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching Bible classes with her husband, hiking, listening to live music, and making memories with friends and family.
Tracie
After 11 years in the dental industry, Tracie has mastered keeping the schedule straight, the paperwork moving and the laughter flowing-because a good smile starts the moment you call! She is a self-proclaimed insurance wizard, ready to assist. Her hobbies include relaxing on the front porch, “thrifting” and photography. She and her husband have two beautiful and amazing children.
Melinda
Melinda brings a well-rounded perspective to her role as Professional Relationship Director. She is passionate about fostering strong inter-office relationships and supporting exceptional patient care. With experience in front office operations as well as chairside dental and surgical assisting, she understands the full patient journey from first contact to treatment. Outside of work she enjoys traveling to new destinations, cooking, attending live music events, and spending time with her husband, their two children, and two dogs.
Karen
Karen has been an oral surgical assistant for 40+ years. She started her career in California where she resided for 30 years. Karen is very knowledgeable in the field of Oral Surgery and loves aiding in educating and caring for our patients. She has been an Implant Coordinator, Lead Surgical Assistant, and Clinical Manager over the years. Karen has a bachelor’s in Child and Adolescent Studies, DAII, BLS and DAANCE certified. She moves to North Carolina twelve years ago and resides in the Mebane area. In her spare time, Karen loves going to concerts with her husband Jeff, being outdoors with their two dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
Tessa
Tessa is a native of West Virginia and relocated to North Carolina 10 years ago. Tessa has 4 plus years’ experience working as a dental assistant . Her passion is working with patients in building their confidence thru their “new smile”. In her spare time, she enjoys all things outdoors. Camping, fishing, gardening, homesteading, riding her motorcycle, and competing in strongman lifting.
